Stocking Stuffer Ideas For Young Girls
Filling your little girls stockings for the holidays can be so much fun. There are so many cute and little stocking stuffer ideas for young girls. Special things that either your young lady will love or that they may need to start the new year off right.
Either way, it’s always so much fun to watch them open their stockings and find all of their little treasures.
Here is a list of some of our favorite stocking stuffers for our young girls who are ages 9, 5, and 3. Many of these items that I have listed could definitely be used for older tween and teen girls. Of course, the items may need to be modified or made of different materials or quality, which is no problem due to the sheer number of products on the market today. Hopefully, this list will provide you with some ideas or inspiration for the little princesses in your life.

Little girls love accessorizing!
There are so many fun and little accessories at any budget to fill their stockings with. For your littlest girls costume jewelry with big beads and princess rings are a go to.
Nicer jewelry and accessories are great for older girls who are starting to care more about what types of accessories they are wearing.
The girls really love finding jewelry or hair accessories in coin purses or small bags with zippers. These bags would also make great containers for gift cards, coins, stamps, or money.
Here is a list of some of our favorite accessories!
- Ankle bracelets
- Coin Purse
- Hair Clips
- Head Bands
- Pony Tail Holders
- Small Scarf
What girl does not love bath products? Even our Vi, who is three years old, loves bath bombs. You don’t even have to put these in the bath. They love watching them bubble in a sink or container.
Stockings are also a great time to get the kids essentials for the year such as band aids, eye glass cleaners, glasses case, or new combs and brushes. Our favorite brush is the Wet brush. I’ve come to love this brush in the last few years and I really don’t know how we lived so long without it.
Heading on a family holiday or trip soon? Add travel size products to their stocking or travel bag.

Purchasing beauty items for little girls is not for everyone.
Our girls do not wear make-up on a daily basis, because it is mainly saved for dance recitals and make overs with mommy at home. That being said, I do purchase my daughter her own dance recital make-up for hygiene and cleanliness reasons.
Everyone is allowed their own opinions and thoughts on when it’s okay or appropriate for their own child to wear make up and other beauty products.
Our girls love getting make up to play pretend with, so the make up we get is typically pretty cheap. Our oldest daughter on the other hand could be wearing make-up in the next 3 to 5 plus years, so I’ve began considering purchasing nicer make up for her.
Fingernail polish and smelly good lotions are also a great go to stocking stuffer idea for girls.
- Lip Gloss
- Nail Polish
- Body Spray
- Pretend Make-up
- Make-up such as blush, eye shadow, or mascara.
- Nail Kit
Little girl clothes can be rolled and folded until they are super small. Small enough to fit into stockings or other small bags that can fit into stockings.
Another reason to add these to your stocking list is that kids are constantly growing, so at some point they will be needing more of these items.
- Tank Tops
- Swim Suits
At some point during the year your child will be doing crafts.
Why not add these items to their stockings. They’ll likely get more use out of them then the toy that will end up on the shelf.
We are in constant need of craft supplies like stickers and pipe cleaners.
- Colored Pencils
- Drawing Pencils
- Small Craft Kits
- Mini Notepads
- Google Eyes
- T-Shirt Paint
- Hole Punch
Purchasing electronic items varies from family to family. Some families spend more time with their electronics and some less.
For anyone that does allow their kiddos digital time their kids probably have some kind of device. Why not teach them now that they need to maintain that device and that it is okay to get items for the holidays that do this.
You’ll most likely end up doing it any way.
- Pop Socket
- Phone or IPod Case
- Screen Protectors
- Memory Cards
- Thumb Drive
- Small Speaker
- Blue Tooth Headset
- Ear Buds
- Lens Cleaner or Clothes
I loved getting little holiday items in my stocking every year when I was a kid. They are so cute and fun to play with during Christmas vacation.
Now that I am a mom I’ve started putting away these cute toys, leftover craft kits, and decorations with the Holiday decorations for the family to enjoy next year. It makes it so much easier to keep track of and the kids think it’s a new holiday toy when we put up decorations every year.
