Palm Sunday Activities For Kids
These, bible verses, crafts, story, and video are targeted to a child audience; however, as a parent you are your child’s first teacher.
Adults will get as much from doing and listening to these activities as your children.
Here is one of the many crafts you can do with your children for Palm Sunday.
Hand Print Palm:
Trace then cut out or have your child cut out their hand prints on green construction paper.
Kids can also color their hand prints with a green crayon, marker or pencil.
I made extra for a more full palm.
Glue the hand prints to a tongue depressor, stick, pencil, whatever you have available.
You could also write the bible verse John 12:13 on the leaves.

Ministry to Children is a great sight for children’s biblical activities and printable’s.

Palm Sunday Children's Video
I also like to show the kids a video pertaining to what we are learning about.
If you have different learners or kiddos that learn in different ways in your household, this is another way to share what you are learning about Palm Sunday.
You can find several videos about Palm Sunday online. I’ve found a great video at Crossroads Kids. You can find it here: crossroadskids.net
It’s called “God’s Story: Palm Sunday”
Crossroads Kids does a great job of describing what is happening while also using visuals of what it may have looked like during the time of Jesus.
